In my sadness I turned to look where you sat

Expecting to see you smiling up at me

But as I see the empty space reality settles in

Youre not there any more

I cant see your smiling face

Now theres an empty space

Ive lost you forever

I stroke the seat of where you were

Thinking that days ago you would have been there

Thinking that there must have been a way

Some way to save that precious soul
